Recently, there have been a growing number of companies finding it hard to become compatible, through compliance with new standards and maintenance and management of internal facilities, with the EMC tests and various compliance tests required for the quality assurance of electronic devices and products. What is more, a wide variety of products now include wireless functionality, which has caused an increase in the need for electromagnetic wave measurement.
Zuken Inc.（"Zuken"）, based on this situation, has opened the "Zuken Technical Lab" on this occasion, and is starting a comprehensive measurement service for the evaluation of electromagnetic waves.
The following is an outline of the expansion in facilities and new service:
In the present age, where wireless functionality, such as wireless LAN and Bluetooth modules, are equipped in not only the various types of multimedia and mobile communications devices such as the smart phone, but also on-board devices and various industrial products, testing and countermeasures for noise during product development are gaining ever more importance. Further, technicians participating in product development are under an extremely heavy operational load, where depending on the content of measurement they need to make adjustments on a daily basis and take business trips to remote locations. However, through the expansion of facilities on this occasion, it is possible for the customer to perform not only noise measurement, but comprehensive measurement and evaluation of electromagnetic waves, by coming to the "Zuken Technical Lab" near Shin-Yokohama station.
This service is due to start from August 1st.
