Zuken Achieves Compatibility with the Xilinx Zynq-7000 family with the "CR-8000/CR-5000"
Makes PGA Co-Design Environment "GPM" Promptly Compliant with Cutting-Edge Devices
(Aug 6, 2012)

Zuken Inc. ("Zuken"), in its FPGA codesign environment "GPM" linked to the "CR-8000/CR-5000" circuit board design solution, has newly added the Xilinx-made All Programmable SoC Zynq-7000 extensible processing platform (EPP) family devices and 7 series FPGA to its device library. This allows designers to promptly use the latest Xilinx-made devices in their designs. This broadens the range of selection for designers and, through use of "GPM," enables routing of signals and pin assignment research based on the floor plan and intelligent collaborations with the FPGA design environment.
The Xilinx Zynq-7000 family is a device family made up of the ARM® dual core Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ programming system and 28nm programmable logic.

Mark Jensen, Director of Xilinx Embedded System Software/Tool Marketing, said as follows.
"We welcome the fact that compatibility was promptly achieved in the FGPA codesign environment "GPM" for the Zuken circuit board design system with the Xilinx Zynq-7000 family. We are confident that, through these collaborative solutions, we can dramatically accelerate product development in a variety of applications and support our designers."

Kazuhiro Kariya, Chief Technology Officer at the Zuken Technical Headquarters, said as follows.
"In the fierce competition facing the electronic device industry, the question of how EDA vendors prepare the design environment for the latest devices affects the product rollout period and business timing. Through our partnership with Xilinx on this occasion, we can promptly support the latest devices and respond urgently to customer needs."
